Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Norm Ullman became a member of a very select and prestigious group of hockey greats early in the 1971-72 season when he became the fifth player in NHL history to record 1,000 points. With an assist in Toronto's 5-3 loss to the New York Rangers at Maple Leafs Gardens on October 16, 1971, Norm joined former Red Wings teammates Gordie Howe and Alex Delvecchio in the 1,000-point group along with Jean Beliveau and Bobby Hull. Offered here is the actual Converse Art Ross official NHL puck from Norm's 1,000th career point with a blue rubberized Maple Leafs crest on its face. A band of white tape was added in recent years by Norm as he inventoried his personal collection. This milestone 1,000th point puck comes along with Norm Ullman's signed letter of authenticity.
