Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Hall of Famer Tony Perez's familiar #24 is written in black marker on the butt end of the knob of his sensational game-used Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Perez's facsimile signature is etched onto the barrel of the bat between "GENUINE R43" and "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER". The Cincinnati Reds' RBI generator was a crucial cog in the Big Red Machine that dominated the National League throughout the 1970s, winning consecutive World Series titles in 1975 and 1976. This Perez gamer exhibits great use and is in really nice condition overall, with a slight crack on the shaft beginning just above the handle. A Willie Stargell pro model Louisville Slugger is also included in this lot. "M110" is engraved in the bottom of the knob of this vintage white ash beauty that remains in excellent condition overall with Stargell's facsimilie signature featured on the barrel. A Hall of Fame pair of bats, including a gorgeous Tony Perez gamer.
