Mike McEwan's personal Stanley Cup trophy, awarded by the National Hockey League to recognize his contributions to the New York Islanders' post season run in 1980-81. These miniature grails were presented to each member of the Islanders after they beat the Minnesota North Stars in a five-game final. The striking original trophy is engraved, "New York Islanders, 1980-81" and lists the team's administrative staff, including president and GM Bill Torrey and head coach Al Arbour, and each of the team's players, including Bourne, Denis and Jean Potvin, Mike Bossy, Billy Carroll, Clark Gillies, Butch Goring, Garry Howatt, Anders Kallur, Gordie Lane, Dave Langevin, Bob Lorimer, Hector Marini, Mike McEwen, Roland Melanson, Wayne Merrick, Ken Morrow, Bob Nystrom, Stefan Persson, Billy Smith, Duane Sutter, John Tonelli and Bryan Trottier, along with the team's trainers. A perfect opportunity for any Islanders fan or championship collector to obtain an original Cup trophy from one of hockey's great dynasties. In excellent physical condition with original patina and some wear to the silver-plate finish. Will come with a letter of authenticity.
