Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
As the story goes, Stan Mikita invented the curved stick. This mid to late-Seventies Northland Registered Pattern Number 7126 gamer features Mikita's more subdued curve used towards the end of his career. Stamping along both sides of the shaft includes "Mikita" and "Gunzos". The stick has been decorated with the red ink signatures of Stan and twenty of his talented teammates including Tony Esposito, Ivan Boldirev, John Marks, Bob Kelly, JP Bordeleau, Mike Veisor, Keith Magnuson, Tim Higgins, Darcy Rota and more along the shaft. The blade is done in vintage black tape with Stan's typical aged "corndog" knob. In appears to be in outstanding condition and will be a nice addition to your collection of 500-goal-scorer gamers.
