Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Grouping of four game used sticks that once filled the mitts of some of the game's top talents. Firstly, Mark Messier's Louisville circa 1990, probably used during his last year in Edmonton. This one is fully taped with no major damage and sports a large red signature down near the blade and a penciled note "90-91" on the shaft. Three more gamers are here: A Chris Chelios Sherwood 9950, A Scott Stevens Victoriaville and an old Koho 221 used by Kevin Lowe while with the Oilers during his rookie era. The Chelios and Lowe have had the blade taping removed and both are autographed. The Stevens is taped at both ends and is cracked at the heel.
