Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
December 5th, 2006 was the night the St. Louis Blues retired the number 16 jersey worn by Brett Hull, arguably the greatest player ever to wear a blue note on his chest. Accompanied by his friends, family, former teammates and nearly 20,000 fans, Hull watched as his banner was raised to the Scottrade Center rafters. This blue home jersey with the commemorative Brett Hull Jersey Retirement Night patch was prepared for use by Jamie Rivers who did not see action in the Blues' 5-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. Size 56 by Reebok with the MeiGray inventory tag in the hem and matching letter of authenticity from the Blues/MeiGray Game Worn Jersey Authentication Program.
