Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
On the evening of November 22, 2008, Patrick Roy brought the crowd at the Bell Centre to their feet as they watched his fabled number 33 rise to the rafters. The game that ensued pitted the Habs against the visiting Boston Bruins and this jersey was worn throughout that match by Patrice Brisebois. The special commemorative "33" patch rests on the upper right breast in a tip-of-the-hat to a goaltending great. The jersey is an RBK Edge in size 58 with the team's inventory tag in the lower inner rear hem. Very little game wear, as is to be expected on this historic uniform. Comes complete with a detailed bilingual letter of authenticity on Canadiens' letterhead signed by head equipment man Pierre Gervais
