Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Well-worn protective gear from netminder Stephane Fiset dates back to the mid-Nineties when he roamed the crease in Quebec for the Nordiques. The white pads are by Vaughn and are littered with puck marks. Each VPG3000 leg pad is embroidered with Fiset's full name. The matching set of Vaughn blocker and catching glove, also in white, show great game wear as well. All four pieces have been signed in silver by Stephane. Rounding out the grouping is Fiset's game worn Los Angeles Kings uniform, a black Starter airknit affair tagged in the collar in size 58-G with the team's "1996-97 Set 1" tag sewn into the inner rear hem. Nice game use for a goalie sweater with pilling at the collar and lower front along with stick marks and a few burns. Again, Fiset has autographed this piece with a personalization to a friend.
