Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
The Flower blooms again with this sensational collection of five autographed Guy Lafleur frames and four game used pieces of the Hall of Famer's equipment, including his Chimo hockey stick, Quebec Nordiques practice jersey and a pair each of skates and hockey gloves. The boots of Lafleur's well-worn Bauer skates have all references to the manufacturer completely blacked out and his name and #10 written in black marker on the bottom of each boot between the brackets of his beautifully scuffed Tuuk blades. He has signed the blade of his fantastic blue Chimo gamer and the front of a blue Nordiques CCM practice jersey that has had his name sewn onto the back in individual white twill letters above his original heat pressed white vinyl #10. Lafleur's game-used red, white and blue New York Rangers Ferland gloves have his #10 written in black marker inside each cuff and both gloves exhibit great wear and remain in remarkable condition. The five gorgeous autographed framed limited edition prints included here span Lafleur's Hall of Fame career, from his superstar days in junior with Quebec and in the NHL with the Habs, to his return with the Rangers, his homecoming with the Nordiques, and fun and games in retirement at the 2003 Heritage Classic.
