Former Canadiens forward Andrei Kovalenko wore this lively red poly knit Yaroslavl Lokomotiv club jersey during the 2004-05 Russian league season. Acquired by Montreal from Colorado in the Patrick Roy trade, he scored the last goal in the Habs' 4-1 win over Dallas in the final game at the Forum on March 11, 1996. Kovalenko began his NHL career with Quebec and also played for Edmonton, Philadelphia, Carolina and Boston. He returned home in 2001-02 to play for Lokomotiv, where he sported this #51 jersey with everything screened on, including his Cyrillic surname. A size 54 fly tag is sewn into the neck above a Sports Design manufacturer's tag. This is a beauty of a gamer, with air-flow gussets under each arm and attractive use of the team's red, white and blue color scheme. Light use to report on this Russian gamer that remains in really good condition.
