Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009

Despite the Cyrillic letters used to spell out his surname, Pavel Bure is obviously the player who wore this unique Russia jersey. Fresh from leading the Vancouver Canucks to the Stanley Cup final, Bure sported this distinctive blue mesh #10 Russia jersey for the NHL All-Star tour games that took place during the work stoppage that delayed the start of the 1994-95 season. This exhibition game jersey exhibits the light wear that one would expect, with a nice board burn hole on the right breast to note. The jersey's laundry instruction fly tag remains sewn into the neck and all of the numbers, logos and lettering are screened onto the polyester mesh fabric. A great international gamer from one of the most dynamic Russian players ever to play the game.
