The red twill captain's "C" heat pressed onto the left breast of this 1980s Czech national team white mesh Tackla jersey highlights Vladimir Ruzicka's international stature. Ruzicka won gold with Czechoslovakia at the world championships in 1985, one of five times he competed in the prestigious international tournament during the decade. He also took part in the Canada Cup in 1984 and 1987, and three Olympics, including the Czech Republic's gold medal win in Nagano in 1998. Ruzicka's surname is screened onto a white nameplate sewn onto the back of the jersey, with red twill accent symbols sewn directly onto the jersey above it. Size XXL and Tackla fly tags remain sewn into the neck and the #17 on the sleeves and back are screened onto the white polyester mesh. There's really nice game use to report on this beauty of a gamer, including fantastic board burns on the sleeves, particularly around the elbows and above the cuffs. A really nice international gamer from a Czech star who totaled 82 goals, 85 assists and 167 points in 233 NHL regular season games with Edmonton, Boston and Ottawa.
