Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
One-time Edmonton Oilers farmhand Tomas Kapusta wore this distinctive burgundy knit jersey while playing for Dukla Jihlava of the Czech Elite League in the late 1980s. The dark yellow bands on the hem, sleeves and the shoulders are sewn onto the burgundy jersey, as are the embroidered team crest on the front of the jersey, the black and yellow double cloth #20 on the sleeves and the back, and the individual yellow cloth letters spelling out Kapusta's surname that are sewn onto a burgundy nameplate. This great Czech gamer exhibits nice game use, including stick marks, paint transfer and a few slash holes.
