Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Hoard of hockey pucks, dating back to the Sixties includes some rarities. Highlights include a perfect Sixties-era American Hockey League Buffalo Bisons Converse game puck with the Pepsi-cap logo, a peachy early Flyers gamer with the rubber octagon back from 1968-69 and a 1967-68 first year North Stars patent number puck with game use. A stack of NHL Converse gamers is here from the Hawks, Capitals, Scouts, Blues, Seals, Kings (2), Rangers (2), Penguins (2 styles), Sabres and Bruins. Most are in excellent or better condition. Also, two more AHL examples from the Hershey Bears and the Rochester Americans. Finally, as a toss-in, three later Viceroy game pucks, two from the Vancouver Canucks and another Toronto Maple Leafs version from the early Seventies. Condition is way above average on this lot.
