Yvon Lambert took a huge early step towards his four straight Stanley Cups on November 17, 1973 when he scored his first two NHL goals in Montreal’s 8-5 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Lambert received this wood and blue metal plaque from the Canadiens that features his first-goal puck. A 50-goal scorer in the juniors and minors, Lambert beat Roger Crozier 13:52 into the second period before adding his second of the game late in the third. The Viceroy NHL official game puck with a Canadiens logo has been mounted on the plaque along with a red, silver and blue CH logo that has cracked along the top. Lambert’s full name is engraved on the plaque, along with details of the milestone goal in French. Yvon Lambert’s signed LOA and a copy of the November 18, 1973 edition of the Journal de Montreal newspaper come along with this one-of-a-kind puck plaque.
