Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Beautiful black hooded parka jacket by Roots, issued to Team Canada Mens Ice Hockey Team staffer Stu Poirier meant to be worn for the official Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. However due to NHL schedule restraints the team was unable to participate in the ceremonies and the jacket was never worn. It sports an embroidered Team Canada 02 Salt Lake City crest on the upper chest with "Canada" running across the back and has the Roots tagging and size XL label in the collar. In excellent like new condition. From the personal collection of former Team Canada massage therapist Stu Poirier with an accompanying letter of authenticity.
