Attractive bauble presented to the wife of Team Canada staffer Stewart Poirier after the gold medal finish in ice hockey by the Canadian men’s team at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. The dainty 8.00 gram treasure consists of a solid gold band that wraps around to the front to firmly clasp five synthetic stones at the top. One side is sculpted with the Hockey Canada Logo and "Canada 2002". The opposite shank is engraved with Olympic rings and the logo of the Salt Lake Games. Stamped with the assayer’s 10K mark inside the band. Size 8. From the personal collection of Team Canada massage therapist Stu Poirier with an accompanying letter of authenticity.
