Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Great gathering of vintage signatures from some of the game's most revered players and builders, most of whom have been honored with a spot in Hockey’s Hall of Fame. The collection of 3"x5" index cards and cuts is highlighted by the sig of netminder Jacques Plante under an art postcard along with fellow goaltender Tiny Thompson of the Boston Bruins who has signed a lined card beneath a classic black and white image. Additional autographs are here from HoFers Ching Johnson, King Clancy, Frank Boucher, Ebbie Goodfellow, Happy Day and George Hay. The builders are represented by Frank Dilio and Robert Lebel, who have signed blank cards matted along with their Hall of Fame postcards. A special treat is the addition of a matted display signed by deceased Flyers great Barry Ashbee. All eleven displays are professionally matted and ready for framing and sizes vary with the largest piece measuring out to 10.5" square.
