Fascinating Christmas card pictures members of the 1935-36 Chicago Black Hawks and includes the likes of Howie Morenz, Mike Karakas, Doc Romnes, Johhny Gottselig, Alex Levinsky, Art Coulter, Lorne Chabot, Marty Burke and Mush March. Facsimile autographs are featured below the photo while the inside message reads "With all kind thoughts and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year". It was signed in fountain pen "To a lucky fan, Michael Karakas". The American-born Karakas made his NHL goaltending debut that season after Lorne Chabot suffered a training camp injury, played in all 48 games and won the Calder Trophy as rookie-of-the-year. The card is paper stock, folded 4 times and measures 7" x 5". It shows some handling and wear but no major flaws and is in excellent condition. A wonderful, seldom-seen relic that will appeal to several types of collectors.
