The art deco sweaters of the 1929-30 Tulsa Oilers are a highlight of this collection of six minor league hockey team photos from the 1930s and 1940s. This group of team photos also includes goalie Sam LoPresti (with his name misspelled LoPresto) in a shot of the AHA's St. Paul Saints labeled "St. Paul's 1939 'New Deal' Hockey Team", along with the 1944-45 Indianapolis Capitals, The 1946-47 Omaha Knights and the 1947-48 Dallas Texans. The team photo of the 1949-50 Buffalo Bisons features future Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame defenseman Tom Johnson in the back row. This is a great collection of vintage minor league team photos.
