This outstanding 1930s panoramic hockey team photo features a Quebec-based team with a crest on the chest of their white sweaters consisting of the letter "D" superimposed on a letter "M". The remarkable vintage print measures approximately 7 '" x 23" and is mounted in an extremely fragile 10 3/8" x 24 '" wood frame. A nicely posed shot, the wide image includes all 15 members of the team, including two goalies, lined up in uniform along with team executives on the ice of an outdoor rink. The print has "Desjardins, Sorel, P.Q." stamped onto the bottom right corner. The remarkable detail of the image includes neighboring houses beyond the rink that give a tangible sense of the outdoor roots of the great winter game.
