Here is a very rare image from the early days of hockey in Worcester, Massachusetts. This studio-posed team photo of the Worcester hockey team likely dates from the 1920s, with the team's 11 players and head coach posed in two rows with the goalie's distinctive pads and crossed sticks in the front row of the shot. The vintage 10" x 8" photograph is mounted to its cardboard backing in its original 13" x 11" wood frame, which is chipped in the upper right corner. This rare photograph offers a great look at the development of American hockey.
