Challengers for the Stanley Cup! Classic cabinet photograph captures the images of the members of the 1907-08 Winnipeg Maple Leafs of the Manitoba Professional Hockey League (MPHL). The Maple Leafs would capture the MPHL Championship and go on to challenge the Montreal Wanderers for the Stanley Cup in 1908. Pictured players of note are team leader Lorne Campbell, who scored 32 goals over the 16 game season, Also of note among the members are early NHA regular Fred Lake and Hamby Shore who was a star with the Ottawa Senators. The photo measures 14x17", matted slightly larger. In near excellent condition with very light foxing.
