The 1949-50 edition of the Detroit Red Wings would capture the National Hockey League regular season championship and go on to win the coveted Stanley Cup in the same year. Hall of Fame members portrayed in this vintage glossy black and white 8" x 10" photo include Harry Lumley, Sid Abel, Jack Stewart, Ted Lindsay, Gordie Howe, Red Kelly and team executives Jack Adams and Tommy Ivan. Blue ballpoint ink running along the bottom of the photo reads "1949-50 Stanley Cup Champs". Two registry holes appear at the top just above a paper strip identifying the players (attached with two small sections of red tape). Another piece of paper is affixed to the back, listing all of the players along with their stats for the season. In excellent condition.
