This unique team photo montage depicts the 1918-19 Toronto Arenas, the defending Stanley Cup champions. The Arenas claimed the first Cup contested by the newly formed NHL in the spring of 1918 when they defeated the PCHA champion Vancouver in a five-game series. Hall-of-Famers Jack Adams, Rusty Crawford, Harry Cameron, Hap Holmes and Reg Noble led the Arenas to Toronto’s first championship along with Alf Skinner, Harry Mummery, Harry Meeking, Ken Randall, and Corbett Denneny, who delivered the first Cup-clinching goal in league history. This fantastic 16" x 20" vintage studio print is mounted on its original white matte that measures approximately 18" x 21 ½". The montage includes photos of the Stanley Cup and the O’Brien Cup along with individual photos of the Arenas’ players.
