The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
This mesh Oilers home jersey was worn by defenceman Brian Glynn during the second half of the 1991-92 season. Acquired from Minnesota during the season, Glynn had eight points in 25 regular season games before adding five more in 16 playoff games. This white gamer has a small hole and a couple of tiny bloodstains above the NHL 75th anniversary patch sewn onto the right breast. Both sleeves feature nice team repairs and a number of tiny holes and cuts near the elbows and cuffs. The fight strap is intact and there is a solid slash mark on the left side of the back of the jersey. The original Maska tag remains sewn into the neck and “91/92 1” is written in black marker inside the back of the neck beneath the size 54 tag, which has been sewn over by nameplate stitching. A letter of authenticity and documentation from the NHL/MeiGray Group is included.
