Longtime Bruins left winger P.J. Axelsson wore this jersey during the 1999-2000 season, his third in the NHL. The Swedish left wing had 10 goals and 26 points in 81 games with Boston, many while sporting the “NHL 2000” crest on the right breast of this jersey that comes along with a certificate of authenticity signed by Bruins equipment manager Peter Henderson. The fight strap is intact and the original Pro Player and size 54 tags remain sewn into the neck. The inside rear hem is screened with the indication that the jersey is from the Bruins’ official 2nd set from the 1999-2000 season. This nice gamer has stick marks on the bottom front of the jersey, including a small one on the bottom of the Bruins crest, and team repairs on the right elbow. The yellow part of the rear hem shows good board burns and paint transfer.
