The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Wonderful Turn Back the Clock style Montreal Canadiens uniform worn during the 1991-92 season to commemorate the NHLs 75th Anniversary. 400-goal man John LeClair wore this one during his rookie NHL season (according to the leagues guidelines on number of games played to determine rookie status). Big John played in 10 matches in 1990-91 but his rookie campaign came in 1991-92 when he played a 59-game schedule with the Canadiens, scoring 8 goals and tallying 19 points. Red Ultrafil by Maska, according to neck tagging, displays the National Hockey Leagues commemorative 75th Anniversary patch on the breast and the tackle twill Habs logo on the chest and again on the left arm, a tribute to those amazing Canadiens teams from the Twenties and earlier. Little to no visible game wear. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Classic Collectibles, one from the MeiGray Group and was originally obtained from a high-ranking team executive.
