The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction

Captain Craig Hartsburg led his team in Minny throughout the 1983-84 schedule wearing this heavy green mesh Pedersons affair. Tagged by Pedersons in the collar, the jersey also sports the makers name embroidered in green on the lower hem. Craigs surname crosses the nameplate that stretches from shoulder to shoulder above the two-tone, drop-shadow number 4 on the back. The captains C decorates the left breast just across from the tackle twill star capping the team crest and a loop and leather fight strap can be found sewn into the tail. Game wear is not hard to find with areas of red board paint on the lower arms in the white insert and a number of stick marks and scuffs on the sleeves and lower front. Two stitched team repairs show up as evidence of the trainers craftsmanship at the sewing machine. A perfect example of a defunct style worn by theearly-Eighties leader of this historic franchise.
