Up-and-comer John Tavares potted a remarkable 45 goals and 77 points as a 16-year-old and then in the next season broke Wayne Gretzkys record for a 16-year old, firing 72 goals! This is Johns game worn Reebok Oshawa Generals jersey, crested and numbered with Tavares crossing the nameplate. The white knit uniform was worn, at the very least, in the February 11th, 2006 game between the Generals and the visiting Brampton Battalion. Tavares scored a goal and added an assist in the match, according to the game report. Tagged in the neck in size 56 by Reebok, this shirt shows obvious game wear with at least two dozen stick marks and slashes on the upper front, the back and both arms. Purchased directly from the team and comes with a copy of the original invoice from the Oshawa Generals along with pages of stats and game notes from the February 11th, 2006 game and a number of photographs taken at the game showing Tavares wearing this jersey. Who will get John Tavares in the draft?
