Two dozen autographs, penned in black marker by members of the 1972 Soviet National Team, appear on the shaft and blade of this Russian-made stick and provide for a special and rare offering. Although the sigs are faded in varying degrees, all are legible and included are nice ones of Russian stars Valeri Kharlamov and Alexander Yakushev. Our consignor has done extensive research and has provided documents (to be included) which identify 22 of the 24. The signing lineup also includes the likes of Mikhailov, Petrov, Ragulin, Maltsev, Gusev, Lutchenko, Starshinov and Vasiliev, with the sigs of Anisin, Martynyuk, Vikulov, Tsygankov, Sidelnikov, Lebedev, Liapkin, Firsov, Bodunov, Blinov, Volchkov, Mishchakov and Shatalov also present. Never taped or used, the stick is in great shape and is memory and
thought-provoking; the images of the 1972 Summit Series flowing back right about now to those lucky enough to have lived through it.
