Wielded by a man whose wizardry is legendary, this Koho 221 International Custom Pro model stick is a circa 1977 affair and gets the holder contemplating the career of Russian superstar Valeri Kharlamov. He was that fast "number 17 guy" who most North Americans first discovered during the 1972 Canada-Russia Series. His deft passing and scoring won over hockey observers who admired his extraordinary skills, despite him being the "enemy". "Valeri Harlamov" is stamped on the shaft, down from where white tape forms the Hall-of-Famer's grip, while use/wear is apparent along the bottom of the black-taped blade. Exhibiting nice game use with black stick/puck marks on the lower shaft, the special piece of lumber is solid and free of any cracks and is awaiting a serious Hall of Fame stick collection. Opportunities like this seldom come along!
