Lured back by the chance to play with his sons, Gordie Howe had his second career 100-point season in his WHA debut in 1973-74 and the Howes led Houston to back-to-back titles. Mark may one day join his father in the Hall of Fame, having recorded 405 goals, 841 assists and 1,246 points during a 22-season pro career. Marty had career highs with 17 goals, 28 assists and 45 points in 1976-77. The Howes, who went on to play three more seasons together with the Whalers, have all signed each of the three framed displays in this collection, which includes an Aeros poster with vintage ballpoint autographs. A lined index card with all three signatures is mounted in a black matte beneath a picture of the Howes in their final season together. Three blue sharpie signatures adorn the respective images of the Howes with each of the NHL teams they are most readily identified with: Gordie with Detroit, Mark with Philadelphia, and Marty with Hartford.
