The one and only Terry Sawchuk has signed clearly in black ink above his headshot in the upper left part of this poster filled with vintage autographs from members of the 1962-63 Detroit Red Wings. In addition to the legendary goalie, Gordie Howe, Sid Abel, Alex Delvecchio, Marcel Pronovost, Bill Gadsby, Howie Young, Norm Ullman, Vic Stasiuk, Parker MacDonald, Ed Joyal, Alex Faulkner, Doug Barkley, Howie Glover, Floyd Smith and Larry Jeffrey have signed beside their respective photos on this original poster from an exhibition game prior to the season. Red Wing Windsor Day is printed in red at the top of the poster advertising the game against the AHL Pittsburgh Hornets on Saturday, September 29, 1962 at the Cleary Auditorium. Though they are not pictured, Roger Lafreniere and John Miszuk have also signed at opposite sides of the bottom of the page. The original paper page has pronounced vertical and horizontal creases in the middle where it was folded in half, and then in quarters. Two more subtle horizontal creases appear halfway between the middle and the top and bottom, respectively, where the sheet was folded once again. The page measures about 10 x 8 and it is mounted in a black matte with a white accent and presented in a 13 x 11 black metal frame.
