The 1938 Stanley Cup Finals were held from April 5 to April 12 in a best-of-five series between the Chicago Black Hawks and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Chicago would win the series 31 to win their second Stanley Cup. This 14K circular gold pendant carries an art carved hockey scene on front along with the raised Stanley Cup Winners. The back is engraved Chicago Black Hawks 1937-38 with the recipients name J. Shill and the marking from the manufacturer, Birks Jewelers. Presented to Hawks forward Jack Shill to commemorate the clubs Stanley Cup Championship. John Walker Jack Shill played six seasons in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, New York Americans and Chicago Black Hawks. The 1938 championship was his only Stanley Cup win. Well-preserved, in near excellent condition.
