This fascinating lot of 10 pucks includes gamers from the Central Hockey League and the Western Canada Hockey League that date from the 1960s and 1970s. A pair of Houston Apollos pucks includes one with the CHLs original name Central Professional Hockey League screened in orange on the reverse of a slug with the teams logo screened in orange on the face. (This one has a hole drilled in the middle of the reverse for display purposes.) The other Apollos puck has a white screened face with Houston Apollos in blue screened on the face. A Fort Worth Texans puck is screened in orange, and two variations from the Dallas Black Hawks include an orange screened puck and a later version with a white screened background. A Salt Lake Golden Eagles puck has a rubberized color logo. Pucks from the WCHL include a Winnipeg Jets puck with both sides screened in orange, a Calgary Wranglers puck and a Calgary Centennials gamer. A Wainright Bisons Alberta junior hockey puck completes this intriguing collection.
