Delectable high grade example of Canadiens dynamo left winger Aurele Joliat is from the 1924-25 Champs Cigarettes issue and has been graded a lofty NM 7 by PSA. Joliat had debuted with the Habs two seasons prior and is pictured wearing Montreals globe sweater, a style only worn for one season, after the red, white and blue had captured the Stanley Cup in 1923-24 to earn champions of the world recognition. Interesting is the write-up on the cards back which informs that Joliat played defence in junior and had missed the entire 21-22 season because of a broken leg. The cap-wearing Joliat struck for 29 goals and 40 points in just 24 games the season during which this card was available! Formidable card for a Hall of Fame Canadiens/graded card collection.
