Selected by Montreal in the sixth round of the 1995 entry draft, 138th overall, center Boyd Olson wore this white No. 45 Canadiens Starter home jersey during the 1997 pre-season. The blue Starter logo and black and orange NHL crest are both embroidered onto the right tail and a size 54-R tag is sewn inside the left side of the tail. The original fight strap remains intact, as does the laundry instruction fly tag in the right seam and the Starter tag sewn inside the neck. There is evidence of a nameplate removal and Olson’s surname is spelled out in individual blue tackle twill letters sewn onto a white nameplate. The numbers on the back and both sleeves are blue, white and red tackle twill and the “CH” crest on the front features red and blue tackle twill and white embroidery. Aside from a board burn hole on the left elbow, there is only very light wear to report. The jersey comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Montreal Canadiens signed by Rejean Houle.
