This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Hall of Fame blueliner and member of the Big Three along with Savard and Lapointe, Larry Robinson was a big and solid, yet highly mobile defenceman. He played seventeen seasons for the Montreal Canadiens and another three in Los Angeles with the Kings. Larry won the James Norris Memorial Trophy twice as the league's most outstanding defenceman and added a Conn Smythe Trophy for the 1978 playoffs. Robinson wore this road red Canadiens jersey circa themid-'80s and it displays his alternates A up on the chest. Produced by CCM, the jersey no longer has the neck tagging but measures out to a size 50. The red, white and blue team crest is sewn on the front and Robinson is in tackle twill, sewn on the back above the number 19. This brilliant jersey shows signs of game use including board burns, stick marks, paint transfer and an unrepaired hole. Comes with a letter of authenticity.
