A vintage and graded card lover’s delight is this awesome group which
took years to assemble and which provides hobbyists with an
exceptional opportunity. Here’s the lowdown: the key Gordie Howe RC
is a PSA “EX-MT 6”. There are four cards that came in at “NM-MT 8”;
numbers 17, 37-Gadsby, 45 and 56-Lindsay. The majority of the lot
(45 cards) are “NM 7” affairs and highlighted by numbers 7-Johnson,
14-Geoffrion, 19-Henry, 26-Quackenbush, 49-D. Bentley, 49-Mosienko,
53-Stewart, 56-Lindsay, 63-Delvecchio, 64-Abel (2), 72-Meeker, 80-
Flaman, 86-Kennedy and 105-Conacher, the others being 6, 9, 11, 12,
18, 20, 23, 30, 35, 36, 39, 40, 43, 46, 59, 62 (2), 65, 71, 78, 83,
87, 89, 93, 98, 99, 100, 101, 103 (2). Next in line are 11 “EX-MT 6”
cards: 10-Harvey, 13, 37, 38, 44, 72, 79, 86-Kennedy, 87, 88 and
102. Sixteen “EX 5” cards are mostly duplicates and include Kelly,
Delvecchio, Abel and Kennedy. A dozen “VG-EX 4” cards feature 47-
Lumley, 52-Barilko Winning Goal, 56-Lindsay and
81-M. Bentley. Four “VG 3” cards are Geoffrion, McNeil, Mosienko and
Conacher, while two “Good 2” commons complete the booty. We count a
total of 65 different cards and 30 duplicates, making for an
intriguing and tempting offering.
