Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - October 2007
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/23/2007
An integral part of each of Edmonton's five Stanley Cup
championships, Kevin Lowe inherited the captain's "C" for the '91-92
season, which would turn out to be his last with the Oilers. Blue
air-knit Oilers road jersey here also features the NHL's 75-year
patch, while "91-92 2" in black marker appears in the neck, above the
Maska and size 54 tags. Significant game use to report with over a
dozen black stick marks and general filth on the lower front, scrapes
in the Oilers crest, a total of seven material-backed team repairs on
the sleeves and a stitch job on the back, where a heavy black slash/
hook mark appears. Pilling in the fight strap region is also to
note, along with an LOA from the Oilers.
