Overtime Christmas Auction #9
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2006
Incredible reference books here should be in every hockey enthusiast’s library and are actually a matched set; Volume 3 (1947-67) is one of the limited edition (1500) leather bound copies presented to important hockey figures, while Volume 1 (1893-1926) and Volume 2 (1927-1946) are also limited but originally available to the public. Researched and written by Charles Coleman, they feature in-depth details of the competition for Lord Stanley’s precious and coveted trophy over the years and include results of each NHL game up until the end of the pre-expansion era (1966-67). The first volume is without a dust jacket, the second has a somewhat tattered one and the third includes some water damage which affects some of the pages but which will not impede on you viewing any of the information. It is numbered “1360” and housed in its original black case. A cheaper alternative set than the black leather players’ editions we usually have to offer.
