Overtime Christmas Auction #9
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2006
A perennial junior hockey powerhouse which iced strong teams during the 1950's, '60s and '70s, the Toronto Marlboros captured numerous Memorial Cup titles and sent dozens of players on to the pro ranks. "Marlboros" and the team logo are embroidered onto the left breast jacket pocket here and the blue blazer was originally worn by team trainer Gerry Dean. His name is penned to the "The Captain's Cabin" tag inside an inner pocket while the date below appears to be "Sept. 69". Rather small jacket is a size 30-something and remains in excellent condition, showing very little wear. From a renowned junior hockey franchise! LOA from Gerry Dean, trainer for the Toronto Malboros of the OHL, with there Jr. B affiliate in Markham, Ontario, in 1968, will be included.
