This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2006
A colorful red, green and gold embroidered Team Canada logo adorns the left breast pocket of this classy navy blazer, worn by members of the squad which represented Canada at the 1978 World Ice Hockey Championships. This one originally came from Gerry Dean, a team trainer whose name appears on a tag inside an inner pocket and which is dated "Apr. 18/78." Smallish sports jacket is a size 30-something and has a "Tuxedo Junction - Toronto" label sewn in the lining. Preserved in outstanding, tough-to-expect-nicer condition and a dandy international hockey memento. LOA from Gerry Dean, equipment manager of Team Canada 1978, at the World Hockey Championships in Prague will be included.
