Overtime Christmas Auction #9
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2006
Red knit Montreal Canadiens jersey was donned by Michael Ryder when he was trying to impress Habs management during pre-season action, likely in the late 1990's. Although he had to hone his skills in the minors, Ryder has developed into a bona-fide NHLer with a knack for scoring, potting 25 and 30 goals in his first two big league campaigns. Jersey has an Authentic NHL Center Ice/Starter tag in the neck, the NHL and Starter logos on the rear hem and a "56-R" tag on the inner rear hem. The Ryder nameplate is sewn over where a longer removed nameplate once was. Game use includes some nice burns and a total of three small holes/slices on the sleeves, along with dozens of small black marks across the front where a black stick mark makes its way into the Canadiens crest. Interesting jersey for Ryder/Canadiens faithful to consider
