No stranger to the National Hockey League's annual mid-season all-star celebration throughout his storied career, Joe Sakic would play in a total of twelve NHL All-Star Games between 1990 and 2007, registering six (6) goals and sixteen (16) assists over that time for twenty-two (22) total points, good enough for third all-time. Hailing from the first All-Star Game since 2004, the 2007 instalment of the NHL’s greatest showcase took place on January 24th in Dallas in front of over 18,000 fans, with the West outscoring the East 12-9 on the back of Sakic, who would post an effort of four (4) assists wearing this Western Conference jersey during the second period of play. Made by Reebok and the official premier of their "EDGE" uniform that would come into play the following season, a lone size "54" label is affixed to the inner collar while the crests of both the NHL and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a Western Conference team crest that features embroidered details throughout, an NHLPA logo patch has been added over the reverse hem while the shoulders have been styled with the logo patches of the 2007 NHL All-Star Game and Colorado Avalanche as well. Displaying "Burnaby Joe's" familiar number "19" in dual layer white-over-grey tackle twill numerals, "Sakic" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying the distinguished captain's "C" over the left breast and signed by Sakic over the "9" on the reverse with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue except for some very light bleeding, the jersey remains in beautiful condition overall with just a few small and light stains present in the white band sections near the armpits and dust marks over the front. Sporting a MeiGray tag numbered "D02039" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Western Conference All-Star - Period 2" offering that is accompanied by an NHLPA COA.
