The Clarence Campbell Trophy was presented to defenceman Ed Van Impe as the 1973-74 Philadelphia Flyers went 50-16-12 to win the West Division title with 112 points. The Broad Street Bullies amassed 1,740 penalty minutes, over 600 PIMs more than St. Louis, the next most-penalized team. HOF goalie Bernie Parent recorded an NHL-record 47 wins as he shared the Vezina Trophy with Chicago's Tony Esposito. The full team name, season and "Ed Van Impe" are engraved on one side of the two-handled silver plate lidded bowl with the trophy's name and "1968" inaugural year on the other side. This personal NHL award stands 11" tall and Van Impe signed in marker on the lightly faded green felt underneath the 3" tall wooden base. Comes with Ed Van Impe's signed LOA. The lid is stuck to the bowl, most likely glued in place. Very nicely preserved overall with a few small areas of tarnishing.
