Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Led by MVP Michael Jordan's league-leading 28.7 points per game, the Chicago Bulls cruised through the NBA regular season 62-20 in 1997-98, finishing in first place in the Eastern Conference. Just like the previous season, the Bulls would meet the Utah Jazz in the finals, and win in six games to claim the club's third consecutive championship. We offer a Chicago Bulls 1997-98 NBA championship 14K gold and diamond ring. The exact same style ring the player's received, it is a size 8 with an approx weight of 51 grams. 14k gold, and sporting an 18k gold top, it features a stylized NBA championship trophy, topped by a 75-point high quality diamond. The tiered sides contain an additional 74 diamonds. The left shank has a raised Bulls logo with "Keigher" above and "MKTG" below, while the right shank has an NBA logo with "1998", "World Championship" above and "Repeat 3-Peat" below, all in raised letters. The inner band is stamped "Jostens 14K/18K top".
Chicago Bulls championship rings are always in high demand and a few years ago a 1997-98 ring belonging to a longtime Bulls security guard sold at auction for almost $50,000.00.
Regarding condition, the stunning ring exhibits just light surface wear to the band and shanks. Celebrating one of the NBA's greatest all-time dynasties, please note that this item may be subject to a silent reserve.
