Signing along with former Ducks’ teammate Paul Kariya, Teemu Selanne joined the Colorado Avalanche for the 2003-04 season, and played in 78 contests before returning to Anaheim for a second stint after the 2004-05 lockout. This photo-matched Aves jersey was worn by the HOF member in his lone season with the club, in 2003-04. A label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with a textured Aves team crest with embroidered detailing, “8” appears over the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate Bigfoot crests over each shoulder. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B02356” has been placed over the reverse hem of the "White 2nd Regular Season" jersey, with a matching LOA to accompany along with a photo of Selanne wearing this very sweater. To be sold with the proceeds to benefit a charity in Ken Mace's name, the jersey originates from his "Hammered Hockey" collection.
Exhibiting a very large and thick stick mark beneath the team crest, additional stick marks are visible over the front and sleeves, with burn marks over each sleeve along with a pair of small resulting holes near the right elbow.
