Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The crowing moment for both Team Canada and Sidney Crosby, the OT victory at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver would secure the nation’s second gold medal in just three Winter Games. We have a goal mask team-signed by the Canadian squad. Featuring the Vancouver Games logo over the forehead and a Hockey Canada decal over the chin section, additional Team Canada emblems grace each side, along with the Olympic rings. 23 have signed throughout the surface in dark blue ink including Crosby, Brodeur, Loungo, Toews, Thornton, Bergeron, Niedermayer, Perry and others. The signatures display beautifully against the light coloured background. A hologram from CSI is affixed at the bottom of the chin, with a COA to accompany, along with a plexiglass display case.
The additional signers are Keith, Weber, Seabrook, Doughty, Morrow, Marleau, Iginla, Heatley, Richards, Pronger, Staal, Boyle, Fleury, Getzlf and coach Babcock. The plexiglass display case is 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends), with a small plaque affixed to the front.
